P102.5 - The Loading Process
I've staged my stuff by the door. I'm getting ready to make my first trip out to the car... and I pause.. I take a breath... I intentionally try to relax and then I go for it! (which simply means I grab some stuff and head for the car).
During those trips I try very hard to stay "relaxed". I remind myself I've already done my thinking and this is the time to relax. In the relaxed state anything I may have forgotten will hopefully get my attention. In a non-relaxed state, I will never intuitively hear or internally see the items I've forgotten to stage as mental chatter will overpower those messages every time.
This is Yoga in motion. The is meditating with eyes wide open. This is something that no matter how hard I try to do well, I will occasionally blow thru it all with a chattering mind, and a subsequent negative consequence is sure to get my attention after the fact.
I realize some folks reading this may say, "OMG, this guy is OCD". That always brings me a laugh. First I'd say "that's what folks who aren't living life close enough to the edge of their full potential always say to the rest of us who have decided average just isn't good enough"
I'd also say, "this is what writing about staying present while in motion looks like"
