Who uses this Guide?
Although originally intended for those who are already self-employed with some experience, we feel there is something here for everyone who has to convert their own life energy to money for purposes of trade.
Approximately 80% of business is just business, no matter the product or service offered. If you are employed instead of self-employed, your time is your product and your personal finances are your business. So in that regard, this fits everyone who is financially responsible to themselves.
Identifying that which is "business neutral" and applies to all, versus that which is "business specific" and applies to subsets of folks by trade, is one of the first steps in the exploration and disentanglement process.
If we had to specify folks by business or trade who might benefit most, those might be:

A frustration we see and hear about frequently...
"Why is it so difficult for me to feel great about all aspects of my business? I’ve already put tons of time into learning my trade, and I paid lots of money (or took on lots of debt) to master Business and/or my Trade. Why am I struggling?"

- 10% of your business is your trade (or your product/service)
- 10% of your business is your ability to sell yourself and your business with confidence
- 80% is the “other stuff” common to business
- Everyone who as taught a trade should have been given a minor in Business, if not an associated major. A business degree is not worthy of the four year degree it's been given without an associated trade.
- Everyone who studied business should have been forced to get a minor in a trade, if not an associated major. Trade knowledge without business understanding is a recipe for disaster.
- If you started your business without ever having been an administrator or "admin" for someone in your business or any other business, you probably don't have many of the admin skills needed to run your business.
- If you started a business without a business plan, without a Trusted Guide, without a Bachelor's in Business and/or a Master’s in Business, and/or you started without familial support in the field, you started out in the middle of a huge forest without a compass
- If you you've ever had control of your technology, that might be meaningless now. If you don't look at technology properly, and with a discerning eye, it will cause huge amounts of stress and confusion, and that is an underbelly of stress that many are suppressing which can cause these feelings too.
- Apprenticeships served a purpose. You got paid to learn a trade from someone who would also taught you about business.
The Horizon Story...
Imagine you live on the Island of Hawaii and you are familiar with paddling out to the horizon where you can look back and just barely make out the land.
Imagine that is as far as you typically feel like going.
Then imagine you wake up one day and decide you want to paddle to Asia.
Asia is literally dozens and dozens of horizons away. The problem with such a journey is that there are no discernible land masses to make you feel comfy on your way.
