P101.3 - Office/Workstation Intro
Every Advanced Sole Proprietor should have at least one designated workstation and a computer of some sort. It doesn't have to be fancy. It just needs to be well defined and well supplied.
Some people have spent decades futzing and tweaking a "work womb" as it's moved from place to place
Work wombs can be called home for some for 40 to 80 hours per week. When that's the case, that place needs to be called heavenly if not heavenly inspired if at all possible. That's too much time to spend in a hellish place.
A good office setup is like a crate for a crate trained dog. It is generally a place of comfort and safety, separate from the storm of life -- except when doing the financial analysis that shows he/she is getting swallowed by the storm. That part sucks if it ever comes up.

If you don't think of your work station as a cockpit, a work womb, or a place that can deliver comfort, something isn't quite right. Maybe you are just missing a cat?
