As you can see from this Business Section, there is a TON of stuff to do when running a business solo, and we haven't yet gotten to the tougher stuff related to physical world organization or technology yet!?
In general, Social Media Engagement, for many is a lower priority item unless you know how to convert that energy to revenues.

- If your business is related directly to Social Media penetration, then go for it.
- If your Marketing Plan includes a strong social media presence then go for it and try to track a correlation to revenues
A Facebook page was created for a metal art business. It was nice to have. It was convenient. It was a good secondary online reference in conjunction with a website. It was a GREAT place to create a scrapbook of pics related to our work, but no direct revenue came from it.
Some people are creating their primary websites on Facebook. We're not a huge fan of this given the simplicity of Weebly and some other options, but it can work.

The uses for twitter for most will not be revenue generating. It will be for reaching out to people around the world in a direct way that no other technology wave offers. It is FASCINATING in that regard. There is an entire ecosystem of folks out there that are riding the digital wave in amazing ways. It is an interesting tool and if you can amass a big following, it could be an amazing tool for two way dialogue and feedback. It can be ruthless if you land on the receiving end of a blast.
