B104.10 - Negative Experience Handling |
People are going to have negative experiences. Sometimes it will be your fault. Sometimes it will be their fault. Sometimes it will be a comedy of errors on both parties part.
Sometimes your client won't have a negative experience.... but you will... so this isn't just about the clearing of client energy... this is about the clearing of your own energy too.
Owning ones own failings goes a long ways to working towards a resolution or closure. Likewise, putting someones failings in front of them can go a long ways towards closure too, but it can also blow things up if you are dealing with someone who has no idea how to take responsibility for their own actions or those of their group.
You will need to develop your own process for handling negative experiences that work for you. If you find that you are constantly redirecting the negative energy from your negative experiences on anyone other than those involved in the transaction, you need to figure out how to be more protective of yourself and others (which means you need to figure out how to return the negative energy to those who sent it, instead of redirecting it to others not worthy of being targets).
Try to go to bed at night with a clear head. One way to do that is by speaking your mind. In doing that, try to make sure to speak it to those who are meant to hear it and not others who might be unrelated to the situation or those who may get numb from hearing about issues unrelated to them. This isn't natural for most. We've been programmed socially in many subtle ways not to behave in a healthy manner with regards to this type of thing. Many have to grow into this. It takes practice to get to the point where you will feel comfortable with negative experience handling.
