A search engine is a web-service which can be called from the browser (telephone). It's like information. It operates more like a dynamic TV guide, except it lists things by content not show time as a TV guide did.
A website is like a TV channel, that presents static and streaming information after connected to like a phone call. once connected, it's more like a cb conversation than a phone call.
